what medium you have used and what canvas is that?
If it is drying too fast , try working faster , also, if you spray clear lacquer over it , it will slow down the drying and you can work it . It is a good idea to have a sheet of paper and to draw a diagram with a rough drawing (and instructions) of each stage of the process (about 6 drawings), and the colours you need for each stage .This works for me , (I’m still practising )
